I’m Not a Big Fan of Racing

Every Sunday, my husband likes to sit down and watch auto racing. It used to really bore me to death. After all, what’s so great about watching people go around a track a few hundred times? After awhile, he started pointing out the little details, like how they drove, the speed of the pit crews and the car body kits that made the cars look so great. I can now have a pretty decent conversation about racing. I still don’t like to sit for hours watching them circle, but I at least recognize the drivers and can comment intelligently on what’s going on as he watches.
