My Best Friend’s Tax Problem

My best friend came bursting into my kitchen earlier this afternoon and she was absolutely hysterical.  She said she had just gotten a letter from the Internal Revenue Service about a large tax debt that was apparently owed to the government by her ex-husband.  Unfortunately, this tax debt was incurred while they were married, so she was afraid that she also would be responsible for part of the debt. I told her that she should call a company that specializes in helping people with IRS tax problems.  She agreed that it would be best to seek professional help in this situation.
