SEO and Web Design Work

Search Engine Optimization is (SEO), or should be, best friends with your web site. But even best friends can be traitorous. Now, what I’m posting about isn’t that deep, but it did irk me just a bit. As someone who works in Ann Arbor web design, I get inundated with information about SEO. Recently I attended a talk about SEO practices and when I went to retrieve the notes online, I realized how many places I had to click to get what I needed, which gave that site oh-so-much traffic. And then I noticed I couldn’t even print the info without signing up for this and that, or without having to keep returning to the online presentation. It was good marketing on their part, but it just felt a little sneaky to me.
