US Football Team & Confederations Cup

The US Soccer team ended as runners up in the FIFA Confederations Cup held recently in South Africa. We lost 3 – 2 to Brazil in the final. What was interesting was that US actually lead 2 – 0 at half time but alas they were not able to hold on to their lead. US’s performance was beyond most pundits’ view at the start of the competition. I must say our national soccer team has improved significantly since the last World Cup. In celebration of this I found this pair of Soccer mens cufflinks which I bought to honor the team. I say we will be challenging for top honors in the 2010 World Cup.
