When I was a cook for various cattle drives across the west and beyond, even in South America for that matter, my handwarmer mug was always at my side. I know from past experience that even though you might be in the tropics, the mornings can sometime be very cold and the old handwarmer mug is the only thing that might keep me going. Chasing cattle all the day long and a good nights sleep were the two things that mattered to me. Getting up in the morning to a hot cup of brew in my handwarmer mug was the thing I looked forward to most.

Dirty Tricks

There are so many scams out there that you don’t know when you come across a good opportunity. I get sick and tired of them getting into my computer then letting me know that I got a virus but to get rid of that virus I have to purchase something from them to do it. Not anymore. If those goofballs want to invade my computer without my permission then they are crazy to think I would buy something from them. I installed regcure on my computer the other day and it’s already running faster. I’m glad I found it and will keep it on my computer from now on.

Are the Wickless Candles from Scentsy Worth the Money?

I used to love burning scented candles since it made the house smell so nice. But then I started worrying about fires after the kids were born. Now that they are a little older, I was thinking of trying the Scentsy wickless candles. I have heard that they are safe around kids and that they wouldn’t cause burns, and I am wondering if this is true. Has anyone tried these? I am trying to figure out if they would be worth the money or not. I would love to have nice smells in my house again. I really don’t like the air freshener smell.

Me2everone About to Explode

Today we got word from the bloggers working for Me2everyone that a big day will come next week.  Me2everyone will start releasing it’s actual social networking part of their site.  At first 2,000 members will get access to the new features in order to test it, but soon after, probably next week sometime, everyone will have access to all the new features.  This includes each one of the 480,000 members of the self proclaimed Facebook killer.  We will all get a glimpse of what has been going on behind the scenes these last few months, and hopefully be pleasantly surprised at the progress of the administrators and CEO.

A Good Reason to Have Hurricane Names

It’s much easier and less confusing than trying to remember a storm by it’s longitude and latitude.  I learned this is the reason they first began to give hurricane names.  They found it to be much easier when there is more than one storm that is being tracked.  Storms reaching tropical storm strength were initially given names to eliminate confusion when there were multiple systems in any individual basin at the same time.  This assists in warning people of the coming storm and is especially important in relaying messages between weather stations and ships.  Obviously it is a simpler form of communication for the local weathermen and newscasters as well.

I Listen For Tea Party announcements Every Day

I often listen to our local radio station as I drive to work in the morning.  It is not because they play the best music or because the have the best talk show hosts.  No,  it is because they have a period dedicated to community happenings around the area.   It was hear that I first heard the Tea party announcements for the first party.   Each day when I listen to the bake sales and pot lucks being announced I wonder when they are going to come up with another team party.  Is it time for another one or should the next statement be stronger?
