I Need a Vacation!
July 20th, 2010 by admin
I had decided that I needed a vacation from work. It had been 3 years since my last vacation. That vacation had been a disaster, with a hurricane hitting the North Carolina beach resort I was staying at. I vowed that this vacation would be a hundred times better, and I planned it around the hurricane season. I wanted to avoid cowering in my hotel room for 3 days. I picked up an interesting book at the book store, hoping to give myself some inspiration for planning my trip. The book was titled “How to Catch a Florida Lobster” and was written by a fisherman that lives in the Florida Keys.

July 9th, 2010 by admin
My husband called me a little while ago. He wanted to let me know that he and our sixteen year old son have checked into the hotel in Miami. He said that so far the trip has been very enjoyable. He said that they found a great place to stop for lunch and that they were about to go out for dinner when he called. Tomorrow is their miami fishing charter and I know that they will have a good time. I am hoping that this trip will bring the two of them closer together. There has been a wall between them the past couple of years.

Discomfort on the outside from the feet are not popular, but when it does come about a frequent reason for this can be a disease identified as cuboid syndrome. Adjustable
June 22nd, 2010 by admin
Many of the spalding portable basketball hoops are adjustable to accommodate the different heights of the athletes interested in purchasing them. This is great for my house hold because my husband sets it on the regulation height when he and his buddies play. It is also convenient for my young sons who are not quite tall enough to make a shot even when it is on the lowest height. I like that they can grow into it as they get taller. The adjustable height is what sold me on it. We do not have a garage to mount a hoop on so the portable style was best for us.

Scrimmage
June 7th, 2010 by admin
When I was in high school, we were members of a league that included twenty schools. It was called the Mega League. We used to play schools from all over the Metro Detroit area. I was very familiar with the gymnasiums in these schools. We also had the chance to scrimmage schools that were not in our league. I remember walking into a gym at one our scrimmages and immediately noticing the basketball flooring. It was clear to me that their school did not take much pride in their basketball program, because the court looked miserable. It was then that I decided that the condition of the floor of a court tells you a lot about the support of a program.
