Name Brand Counts for Golf Equipment

October 5th, 2009 by admin

I’m usually against paying more for name brands.  I pretty much assume that most things are created equally, and when I buy a name brand, I’m paying for their fancy logos and marketing.  However, I recently proved myself wrong when I went out on a limb and splurged on a Yardage Pro rangefinder. I couldn’t believe the difference it made to my game!  I am not guessing at distances anymore, and I can clearly see what I’m up against.  I’ve been having a much better time on the golf course thanks to my purchase.  I might have to review this policy and see what else I’ve been missing!

What to spend my first check on.

September 23rd, 2009 by admin

I always wanted a road bike so I kept on shopping around for the best options that I may have  I am planning to buy one for myself with my first check.  I have been visiting shops and stores looking for a possible road bike but they were all expensive.  Most of what I have seen costs $500 or even higher.  I decided to then shop online with the hope of getting a cheaper road bike.  There were a lot to choose from and decided that I go for schwinn road bikes which is a good match for the money and performance.

A Private Ohio CCW Training

September 19th, 2009 by admin

Even though enrolling in a private Ohio CCW training costs more than being in regular classes, I tend to learn more in a one-on-one setting.  And since I’m short of an ignoramus when it comes to firearms, I would be very uncomfortable being in a class where everybody has some level of gun technical know-how.

In my private Ohio CCW training, an OPOTA-certified training instructor was assigned to me.  Since it was on a one-on-one basis, I got all the attention that I need from the instructor.  I got a very detailed and hands-on training in handling handguns from this Ohio CCW training.

Because of the relaxed setting, I was able to set my own pace.  And since the Ohio CCW training I enrolled in was private, I was able to concentrate and keep focus on learning everything that I could from the course.

I Never Thought I’d be a Golfer

September 15th, 2009 by admin

I never thought I would be a golfer. When I was a little girl, I used to get really mad at my father for spending time on the golf course when I thought he should be with the family. I swore I would never play the game. But now I am eating my words. A friend finally convinced me to go play with her a year ago. She handed me one of her Callaway golf clubs and told me to hit the ball. From that minute, I was hooked. Now I understand why my dad spent so much time at the course. It’s such a stress reliever!

Beach cruisers back in style

September 12th, 2009 by admin

It seems beach cruisers are coming back into style these days, which is good I think. There was no QC. The two brothers felt that they were pitted against the world, and that it was only their superior skills that enabled them to make a living in a very competitive business says beach cruisers. One Monday morning Al came into work complaining of a very irritating skin rash. He had been wearing one of the company-made shirts over the weekend. The material had been woven in the Near East and contained an unusually large amount of sizing of the new beach cruisers.

Looking for a Good Quality Snowboard Jacket for My Husband

September 8th, 2009 by admin

When my husband went through his mid life crisis he decided to be more active. Of all of the things that he could take up, I was certainly glad that it was things like skiing, snowboarding, running, etc. I want to encourage him to keep up with these things and I have been looking for a good quality snowboard jacket for him. I would like to get him one for our anniversary this year so that he will have it and be ready to get out on the slopes as soon as it starts to get cold and snowy this winter.

Samurai and Other Swords – the noblest of weapons

September 4th, 2009 by admin

Of all the different weapons that are in use today, and of all the different weapons that have existed throughout history, Samurai and Other Swords the noblest of weapons. Yes, swords are brutally effective weapons. But they are far more than that.

In the past, reigning monarchs and members of royal families, members of the nobility and various other prestigious men, all carried swords not just as weapons, but as a traditional, highly visible sign of their status. Even today, swords and their close relatives – such as scimitars – continue to be a cross-cultural signal of high achievement or high social status.

Dunking makes basketball popular

August 23rd, 2009 by admin

Why has basketball become such a popular sport in America?  What do they show in promotion clips for upcoming games or seasons?  What are the highlights that sports reports give?  It all can be answered with dunking.  People love to see guys dunking the basketball.  So, every kid that plays basketball would ultimately like to be one of those that can dunk.  As a result, Vertical Jump Programs are offered to give people seeking the ability a concentrated workout designed to help gain inches in vertical leaping ability.  Do they work?  It depends on factors but if one does follow the program, chances are they will see improvement.

My Oh My

August 19th, 2009 by admin

There’s a mini concert held in my college the other day. It was an event where those who interested can register themselves with the organizer and get a chance to perform on the stage. I did not wish to go because inarguably it won’t be of much a quality performance. My friends however, had decided to be part of the stage show, and that was the only reason I went for the concert. I noticed one of the bands sang pretty weirdly. They dressed themselves like a rock star, sang with a tone which sounded like dog stuck its nose in the vacuum, and their lyrics was all about the best tennis racket held by Hercules the Greek mythology hero.I wept for the future of music.

We Went Shopping for a Car and Bought an Aircraft

August 11th, 2009 by admin

Three years ago my husband decided that it was time to trade our old station wagon in for something a little slicker.  One Saturday we decided to test drive some models and began talking to a car dealer whose hobby was building planes from homebuilt aircraft kits.  We were fascinated and, when the salesman’s shift was over, he took us out to the hangar where he stored his planes.  We decided to table the new car idea for a while and bought a used plane instead.  The little aircraft has been so much fun that we are planning to build our own.  I am not sure we will ever get that new car.
