My parents offered my wife and I a pleasure trip to any place of our choice.  Not only did they pledge to cover both our fares in going to and fro, we were further assured of an amount which we deemed to be more than sufficient to defray all incidental expenses relative therewith.   At first, we were reluctant to grab the offer considering the high costs of the supposed trip but after much prodding from them, we ultimately gave in.  The growing, by leaps and bounds, of the recent popularity for cruising somehow awakened our curiosity thereby making us decide of giving it a try!  Hence, we took a Cruise from Brisbane in February.  After we got on board the ship, we made a tour around to familiarize and to know what it had in store for us.  We were overwhelmed with great excitement then since we were bereft of cruising experiences.   In our brief inspection, we found the interiors remarkably beautiful- the magnificence of the designs were truly spell-bounding!  There was a line of restaurants that catered the different food preferences of the guests.  The recreational facilities and superb amenities were always available to use.  Attendants were also strategically in placed to ensure prompt service.  When our stroll began to take its toll, we went to our cabin to rest.  As we lay on our bed, we saw through our window the stars looking down upon us- witnessing the unfolding of our intimate moments. Oh, what a perfect way to celebrate our first honeymoon!  The entire trip was infinitely fabulous!

This past Sunday afternoon I drove down to the church that i have been attending the last eight months. The reason I went over there was to help other members of the church give away food. We do this about once a month. While I was down there I had a chance to visit with other church members. One of the other people helping told me about there seminyak bali villa trip. I had planned on taking a vacation.  So, a few months after receiving my retirement benefits, I went on a Cruise from Stockholm to Tallinn.  Although I had no companion when I took that trip, somehow I felt I was not alone.  For how could  I when I had so much fun, more so when I befriended someone of my age whom I met at the bar while I had a few rounds of beer.  Together, we dined, took drinks, and had spas.  Certainly, the pleasant memories I got from cruising will be with me, even in my final resting place.  The travel was infinitely fantastic!

With a large variety of Tents out in the world, how do we know what one we need? If you are going camping by yourself, there is no need to buy a tent that fits 5 people. Unless you just want that much room, if that is the case then so be it. However, For most of us, if  we go camping by ourselves, we would only want a one-man tent. There would be no need for any thing bigger, maybe one more room, to put your other things in. The point to a tent is to keep us warm in the winter, to block the wind, to keep things that are unwanted outside. I could go on for hours, but I am just saying, Get a tent that you need for your experience.

If Only I Had Known

I wish I had listened to that little voice inside of my head–the one that told me to enroll in French class instead of Spanish class.  I truly wanted to learn french, but my parents felt that Spanish would make me more marketable as a teacher.  I’ve been teaching for ten years now and twice I could’ve had a substantial increase if I knew French.  I’ve yet to have any Spanish students to work with!  If only I had know that our community would have French people moving in and out due to one of the companies, I would’ve most definitely gone with French!

Family fun for all!

Yep, that time of the year. We’re going around visiting good historical sights. This year its the alamo’s turn. We booked some san antonio hotels, because like, the alamo is in fact in San Antonio, believe it or not, hahaha.

But yeah, next I think I’m gonna look into planning for malls we can visit. Reason I’m plannining it in advance because we only booked 1 day, and I don’t wanna be stressed out there, trying to get directions to stuff on the spot. I wanna have a list of things to do and see before we even land, so we are ready to just go.

It has been quite some time since my parents have been on any type of vacation. I talked with my sister Angela about it and told her we should surprise them with a planned vacation so they would have no choice but get out-of-town.
