Medial tibial stress syndrome

July 2nd, 2010 by admin

While running is a terrific way to maximize fitness, it isn’t without having its hazards. There are a variety of overuse injuries that runners can get and over 50 % of athletes have a tendency to get an injury every year. The most frequent reason behind them is workout errors like doing too much too quickly and not increasing slowly but surely. One common running injury is what is known as medial tibial stress syndrome. This is pain on the inside of of the lower-leg. Along with the training mistakes it’s also typically due to poor feet biomechanics as well as athletic shoes that aren’t proper for that particular runner.
