Algae in Ponds Throw-Off the Ponds Natural Balance
July 1st, 2010 by admin
Controlling Algae in ponds is necessary to having a healthy pond. The algae form from too many nutrients in the pond. These nutrients come from fish waste. Add to this the still water that ponds tend to have and you will probably have algae. To keep the pond in balance, you will need to control the algae. This can be done with products made especially for ponds that will be safe for the fish and the surrounding environment. Choose products that will release oxygen back into your pond. This will help the fish to retain their health, as well as keep the water clear.
