You would have thought that with a switch the motorized porch awnings are a great deal better than manual porch awnings. But it is a great deal problematic when compared to manual ones.Some of the common problems are •    They break often and so require repairs a lot.•    Though the awning is made from light weight materials it still is heavy and can cause sizeable damages to house if it collapses.•    The motor can cause quite a bit of problems. These types of issues make it quite problematic to set the porch awnings outdoors.So better buy the manual one.
