A free piece of advice

Two days ago I was dinning in one of the best restaurants of the city. I am not married so I was there all by myself . One of the servers there approached me and asked me how a successful man like me can manage to have everything except love. I explained that in life we have to make certain sacrifices in order to get some things done and reach our goals. I told him a Chinese proverb about a man who sold round area rugs for a living and he seemed to get the idea of what I was talking about. When I left he said thank you and assured me that I had changed his point of view on life.
