A Sandwich Toaster is a small kitchen appliance

Toasters come in three types: standard popup models that accommodate two slices of bread; toaster ovens, which hold thick slices of baked products; conveyor toasters, which function like toaster ovens, but with a continuous cycle as opposed to a batch cycle. A conventional toaster has vertical heating elements that use from 600 to 1200 watts. They take from one to three minutes to toast bread. A lever is used to lower bread into the toaster and turn on the electric power. When toasting is completed, the power turns off and the bread rises (pops up) from the heating elements. Typically, the bread slot is narrow and cannot hold wide bake products – thick bagels and pastries. A Sandwich Toaster is a small kitchen appliance with horizontal heating elements and a swing open door. An internal rack can hold large and thick or odd-shaped baked goods as well as pastry items that cannot fit in a popup toaster. Items are inserted, and then the toaster oven is turned on independently.
