Creative Uses for Bamboo Poles!

When my husband and I redid our backyard we chose to go with a tropical resort look of thatch huts and tiki-style furniture.  Afterwards we had a few extra bamboo poles and I got the inspiration to use them as a base for my bird houses.  I got my handy husband to attach the bird houses to the poles and we installed them throughout our garden.  It not only adds great ambiance to our garden but the birds love them as well.  Plus we are using a great renewable resource in an unusual way.  This was a great way to use the extra poles — and nothing was wasted!
