Most Beagle Dogs Can Become Well Behaved With a Few Training Tips

June 13th, 2009 by admin

Beagles are not usually known to be the most well behaved breed of dog, but with a few beagle dog training tips, you can teach your dog to have a much better behavior.  It may just be the nature of the dog, but since beagles were originally bred to be hunters, they often take off at the first smell of a rabbit, rodent, or cat that they come across.  They will usually disobey every command at this point, so be prepared that this most likely will happen at some point.  It is necessary to remain patient when attempting to train a beagle.  They are such social animals and are easily distracted by anything that moves.
