Recipes for Grilled Scallops

Seafood is a great addition to any diet or meal plan, and scallops are great for adding protien with very little fat. Buy them fresh at your grocer’s seafood counter or find them frozen. Put them in the oven or under the broiler for just a few minutes, and you’ve got delicious grilled scallops to add to any meal. You can toss them with some cooked pasta and a bit of butter and grated cheese to make a warm dish. Or you can make a bed of greens such as romaine lettuce or spinach, then spoon the grilled scallops over that for a salad. Drizzle a bit of olive oil and sprinkle some herbs such as basil, oregono, salt, and pepper. The leaves will wilt just a bit and make a nice complement to the grilled scallops.
