How I Started A Halloween Discussion Forum

When you take a fun holiday like Halloween and put it together with online social networking, you get a Halloween discussion forum.  My friends kept suggesting I start up my own forum (that was their way of telling me I was mouthy and opinionated).  Trouble was, I had any number of subjects I was passionate about.  Then last year in early October it hit me.  I could start a Halloween forum.  I was already a regular member of Invision forums, so I knew how to get started.  Right away I let everyone know that it was a temporary forum.  It would only last from October to December.  Everyone was okay with that, and we all had a fun time.
