Signs of a Mold Problem

There are often outward visible signs of a mold problem.  Black mold seen on the caulking areas is a overt sign of mold.  However, there may be less noticeable signs of mold, that may be signs that it getting rid of mold is a necessity.  Having a musty smell in the bathroom is a good indication of a mold problem. Sometimes, the smell is not musty, but more of an earthy smell.  Another indication of mold in a bathroom is a sign of little ants in or near the bathtub or shower stall. Small ants love to nest in moist environments, often behind bathtubs, so if there are many of these around, it may indicate a mold problem.
