The paintball goggles are considered the single, most important piece of equipment in playing paintball. The function is to stop the paintball from hitting you directly at a speed of more than 200 feet per seconds. The main purpose is to cover your eyes, your ears or your face in general because being hit by paintball at a certain speed could hurt you. It is advisable not to get a paintball goggle that will only protect your eyes, it should be your whole face. Ordinary goggles will not be able to sustain direct shot coming from paintball guns that is why it is best to buy paintball goggles that covers the entire face.
