I Need To Learn About surf fitness

I grew up in the coldest cities in the United States, and I barely knew what it was like to not have my car blanketed in snow every morning until recently.  When I accepted a new job at a great little computer company in Los Angeles, California, I was thrilled.  The climate was so great and I would get to enjoy outdoor sports finally.  I am growing to love surfing more every day.  I need to learn about surf fitness.  I would like to see my progress be a lot faster, but in order to do that I think I will need to learn more about conditioning for it.
