When I first heard of this networking site, I believed it to be one of those many socializing platforms, where you would keep bumping into unwanted people. Everyday my inbox would be bombarded with a number of friend requests, some known and others, complete aliens. A few days later, I even started getting reminders from the proposed site to join in. And I got finally trapped. I signed into Facebook. Once I got onto it, the virus of viral marketing had hooked me. It was truly addictive and one of the best Viral Marketing Examples  And it is just not about meeting friends, it is a platform to educate oneself about market, industry, share ideas, in all a complete idea exchange.
